In the second quarter of 2024, the iOS app landscape for fast food and fast casual restaurants outside the United States showcased a variety of performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. The following apps made it to the top of the list in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 434K in the first week of April and peaking at 529K towards the end of June. Weekly active users began at approximately 6.3M but dipped to around 5.9M mid-quarter, before closing slightly higher at 6M.
McDonald’s Germany experienced downloads ranging from 83K early in the quarter to a high of 92K by late June. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 798K, dipping to 699K, and then climbing back up to 816K.
KFC Austria Click & Collect had a modest download count that varied greatly, from a low of zero in some weeks to a spike of 76K in the final week of June. No data on weekly active users was available for this app.
JOE & THE JUICE demonstrated a generally low download activity, with numbers ranging from 1K to 13K. The app didn't show any weekly active user data for the quarter.
BURGER KING® Magyarország didn't register any downloads for several weeks, but experienced a small surge to 11K in early June. Weekly active users were recorded at 11K in early May, doubling to 22K by mid-May, and then no data was available for the following weeks.
